I traveled to Svalbard with Aurora Expeditions, and it’s a trip I still love talking about. That experience is a big part of why I want to help more people discover expedition cruising.

Travel has always
been part of my life.
I’m Jason Gillespie, founder of Evoke Travel. My grandmother traveled the world as a nurse and healthcare consultant. She sent me souvenirs from almost every continent, and I grew up wanting to see those places for myself.
I spent a summer in Japan as a teenage exchange student, backpacked through Europe after high school, and traveled across the Americas. Most of my life has been spent in Colorado and New Mexico, enjoying the mountains and deserts of the southwest. I’m happiest outside, whether I’m snowboarding, rafting, camping, or hiking.
I’ve been a professional travel advisor for eight years. My job is to listen, explain the options, and help you spend your travel budget on the things you’ll enjoy most.

Family time in Belize
“We had a fantastic time in Belize. From transfers to excursions, everything ran smoothly. Once we got there, some in our party wanted to add an excursion. They got hold of Jason, and he arranged it even though we were already on vacation.
The most important thing for me was having a place where we could all stay together. There were nine of us from five different states, and it was a great way to spend time with family who are so spread out. We’re already working with Evoke on another trip for the holidays.”
